With another "must-win" double-header - this time vs Trondheim Baseball - the Pretenders showed poise as they extended their winning-streak to five games on the season.

We - The Oslo Pretenders Sports Club - invite everyone in the age between 15-40 for an Open Baseball Try-Out on Sunday Feb. 6th at 12:00-14:00 at Tøyen Arena.

The Pretenders clinch 20th ESB Gold!

The Pretenders were the host in the playoffs this year but showed no mercy to the visiting teams by over-powering them in both games to clinch the club's 20th ESB title.

The Pretenders will host the ESB Playoffs of 2021 on September 25-26th at Rommen Baseball Park. Two semifinales on Saturday and bronze finale and Finale on Sunday. So make sure to come out and cheer us on!

The Pretenders went into the NM as the undefeated champions of the East Division but had to surrender for an impressive squad from the Raining City in the semis - leaving them with the bittersweet bronze medal.

The Pretenders were back in action after the Summer break and showed up ready to rumble. The game against Royals went as well as anybody could’ve expected, but the Earls from Trondheim gave us once again some real fight and had a 10-4 lead going into the bottom of the 6th..

Yes! The Season Opener was finally here after almost two months of waiting due to the Covid-19 situation in Oslo/Norway and what a start we got. One no-hit shut-out, one immaculate inning, two bombs and a team that was ready from the get go!

Pretenders displayed their championship form to dominate the NorgesMesterskap semi-finals tournament with two convincing wins. Leif Petter and Luis both spun impressive complete games and received offensive support from the entire P-lineup, particularly the OF crew.
Cycle of Leif
Leif P Sandvik hit for the cycle in the first round of NM in Kristiansand last Saturday as the Pretenders crushed both opponents – Stavanger and the Suns – 15-1 to secure a spot in the 2nd round of NM in August.
P1 Wins Two from Royals, Now at 5-0
The Pretenders1 squad earned two narrow victories from the Royals to remain undefeated. Starting pitchers Darren (1-0) and then Matt (2-0) both turned in strong pitching performances, backed by reliable defense and clutch batting.
P1 Rebounds to Beat Alna 17-5
The Pretenders overcame a shaky first inning to mercy-rule their rival Alna, behind Matt's arm and Luis' big bat.

The Oslo Pretenders beat the NTNUI Knickers 19-4 in the season opener at Rommen. On a cold Saturday afternoon, the Pretenders turned up the heat and set a solid precedent for the new season.

After two tough double-headers vs Vålerenga and Bergen Wetsox, the Pretenders managed to find the groove to take home their first two wins of the season. With great hitting, the Pretenders over-powered the Bærum Royalties in great fashion.

Pretenders displayed their championship form to dominate the NorgesMesterskap semi-finals tournament with two convincing wins. Leif Petter and Luis both spun impressive complete games and received offensive support from the entire P-lineup, particularly the OF crew.

Leif P Sandvik hit for the cycle in the first round of NM in Kristiansand last Saturday as the Pretenders crushed both opponents – Stavanger and the Suns – 15-1 to secure a spot in the 2nd round of NM in August.
P1 Wins Two from Royals, Now at 5-0
The Pretenders1 squad earned two narrow victories from the Royals to remain undefeated. Starting pitchers Darren (1-0) and then Matt (2-0) both turned in strong pitching performances, backed by reliable defense and clutch batting.
P1 Rebounds to Beat Alna 17-5
The Pretenders overcame a shaky first inning to mercy-rule their rival Alna, behind Matt's arm and Luis' big bat.
Pretenders win the season opener
The Oslo Pretenders beat the NTNUI Knickers 19-4 in the season opener at Rommen. On a cold Saturday afternoon, the Pretenders turned up the heat and set a solid precedent for the new season.
