The P-awards 2023 for baseball were presented this past weekend at Majorstua. In total 21 awards were handed out. And the winners are......

- MVP: Enrico Guerrini & Terje Hoaas (P1) and Raul Bonilla (P2)

- Best Batter: Lukas Trepczyk (P1) and Johan Nås (P2)

- Best Pitcher: Ty Tollestrup (P1) and Anders Tveten (P2)

- Rookie of the Year: Kamil Hanak (P1) and Fatih Akdeniz (P2)

- Kiai award (fighting spirit): Darren McKellep - For his ongoing battle against cancer.

- Best offensive play (P1): Dave White - For his Grand Slam vs Suns. 

- Best offensive play (P2): Fabian Brage - Went 4-4 with a double against the Loggers.

- Best defensive play: (P1): Raul Bonilla - Running-over-the-head-catch in LF vs VIF

Best defensive play: (P2): Luis Frias/John Heramb/Eirik Justra/Andreas Erga - 4x double-plays in one game.

- Breakthrough of the year: (P1): Lukas Trepczyk - for his great improvement at the plate, ended up as our best hitter.

- Breakthrough of the year: (P2) Eirik Justra- For a big improvement at the plate, and for solid defense all around the field

- Blooper of the year: Håkon Jåtun - For his air-mail-throw that was supposed to be to home (as a pitcher), but ended up way high and hit the backstop.

- Most Bizarre/Phunniest play: John Heramb - Caught a ground-ball, tripped, fell and ass-tagged 3rd base to get the runner out.

- Bernhardsen award (Ridiculous injury): Dave White - For the Picasso art-like bruises after a HBP, foul-tip off his shin that bounced past the short stop, almost-a-hammy after every base-running to 1st.

- Urban award (worst fashion): Lukas Trepczyk - Matching outfit with his water bottle (Yellow-pink-orange-Green)

- Canceled: James Håkonsen - Got canceled by SAS for no reason after he had already checked-in. Had to take the next flight and we had to postpone our games vs Trondheim.

- Eleos Award (for compassion and pity): Helene Fellinghaug - For stepping up and helping us out in Trondheim as our 9th player. Ended up with a .571 OBP. Higher than 95% of the squad.
